Luxor
You will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for a full-day trip to Luxor. Along the way, enjoy the stunning scenery as you travel along a winding coastal road by the Red Sea, passing through mountains and the Arabian Desert to reach the fertile Nile Valley. Observe local farmers tending to their fields and marvel at the canals and traditional water wheels.
Your first stop is the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in the world. Explore its grand columns, obelisks, statues, sacred lakes, and chapels. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant in Luxor.
Next, cross the Nile River to the West Bank, known as the City of the Dead. Here, admire the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the remaining monuments of the temple of Amenhotep III. Continue to the Valley of the Kings and be inspired by its extraordinary tombs and architecture. Conclude the tour with a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Egypt’s only female pharaoh.
